We use OK statements when doing the Neuro Emotional Technique in order to allow people to neutralize the emotions involved in the situation so that they can move forward in that area.
In using OK statements, it allows for transformation without dictating any definite path. It is not about reprogramming someone to be different, but rather that they be given a choice from then on, rather than to just run on automatic.
Imagine that you work with someone who does something that annoys you. They may not even know that they do it or that it annoys you. You have a session where you deal with being ok with what they do. Soon, what they do doesn’t bother you because you don’t pay attention to it anymore. Your stress level is reduced and you are happier.
When we test, we may find that it is a current situation or we may find that its source was from the past. If it is a present time situation, your stress will be eliminated or greatly reduced. If it is a pattern that was created in the past, you will most likely see a reduction in those types of incidents happening in your life.
When the emotions attache to the organs (see info on Candice Pert, Ph.D.) they set up a pattern that people follow automatically without knowing it. When the emotions are neutralized in the pattern, the pattern also dissipates.
